We have seen a recent increase in the number of spam emails, both phishing attacks and also marketing emails. We are successfully blocking both by our excellent and aggressive network spam email filter.
The main problem is that business are being forced to resort to other forms of marketing, and sending unsolicited emails is a cheap solution that unfortunately breaks GDPR legislation.
Phishing Attacks Increase
Back on the 21st May, it was reported by the BBC, that EasyJet had had their client database stolen. We can already see a number of phishing attacks on the increase, but, we can report that our software is correctly and successfully preventing these from being passed through, so end users of our service should not worry.
